The Association's Townhouse Gallery holds eight consecutive shows each year, two of which are solo exhibits and six are juried exhibits with prominent jurors from art schools, galleries and institutions in New York and surrounding areas, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Whitney Museum, Bruce Museum, and Museum of Modern Art.
Jena Maric’s debut solo exhibition features a body of work spanning the last five years. Centered in collage, her art explores the diverse landscapes of her life—from the beaches and old mill towns of her current home in Connecticut to the New York City streets where she was raised. Through an intuitive, personal lens, she captures the fluid rhythm of everyday life. By layering photographs and magazine cutouts with ink, oil pastel, and colored pencil, she constructs a fantastical world where anything and everything is possible.
The exhibition is running from April 30 - May 14
Opening Reception: Sunday, May 3 | 2:00–4:00 PM
